WALES AND THE BORDERS
There is some excellent trout and grayling fishing to be found in Wales, from the Dee in the north to the Taff and Rhymney in the south.
Mid Wales has the upper reaches of the Severn together with its many tributaries, the most important of which is the Vyrnwy. In the mid to south area we have the Wye and tributaries and finally, in the south we have the Taff and Rhymney. Access is variable with plenty of day ticket water but for others it is necessary to join the local clubs and associations.
